We believe that every dog is special and deserves to be treated like family. That’s why we’ve created THE premier Dog Resort in Dallas with all of the comforts of home… plus a few extras!
Our Services
Dog Daycare
Your dog can enjoy a fun, yet structured, day in our Doggy Day Care program under the watchful supervision of our highly trained staff. Most of the day will be spent playing with friends (with a couple of nap times included to keep everyone healthy and in a good mood). We separate dogs by size, age, temperament, and play style.
Dog Boarding
Underdog Kennels Dog Daycare and Boarding offers a variety of accommodations for Dog Boarding, ranging from spacious private rooms to luxurious suites with full-sized custom-made TWIN BEDS, flat screen TVs with DVD Players, and offers a Special Room Service Menu featuring: grilled Grass-fed Ribeye Steaks, Atlantic Salmon Fillets, Boneless Chicken Breasts, and Frosty Paws Doggy Ice Cream for dessert. When you leave town, your dog should get a relaxing, fun-filled vacation, too!
Dog Grooming
We also offer full-service Dog Grooming by our experienced staff in our relaxing Underdog Kennels Dog Daycare and Boarding Paw Spa. Come in and let our attentive staff give your dog the total spa experience…after all, who doesn’t love some pampering?
Our services include: baths, nail trims, teeth brushing, and ear cleaning. We do NOT trim any fur.

1. What services does Underdog Kennels offer?
We are an all-in-one dog care resort in Dallas. Under one roof you get dog daycare, overnight boarding, and grooming in our Paw Spa, all run by the same award-winning team.
2. Where are you located?
Our new home is at 8900 Premier Row, Dallas, TX 75247, right by Love Field and the UT Southwestern Medical District.
3. Did Underdog Kennels move?
Yes. As of April 28 we moved to a brand-new, purpose-built facility just down the road from our old spot. It is bigger, more modern, and gives the dogs even more room to roam, with the same team you already know.
4. Is the first visit really free for new customers?
It is. New customers get their first visit free. Just reach out to our owner, Rob Cottingham, at (214) 724-9071 and he will get you set up and answer any questions.
5. What are your hours?
Monday through Friday we are open 7:00am to 11:00am and 3:00pm to 7:00pm, with the lobby closed midday. Saturday is 8:00am to 10:00am, and Sunday is 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
6. What makes Underdog Kennels different from other dog resorts?
We treat every dog like family. You get luxury amenities, fun seasonal activities, strong safety practices, and a professional, highly trained staff. We have also been voted one of the best dog daycares in Dallas multiple years running.
7. Are you opening another location?
Yes. A new location serving the McKinney, Frisco, and Prosper area is on the way in early 2026.
8. How do I book my dog's stay?
