A Meet & Greet Day is MANDATORY before anyone can stay for Overnight Dog Boarding to ensure they are a good candidate to have a sleep over in our facility. THIS IS FREE!
Please make a 1st Timer Dog Daycare Meet & Greet reservation request. We conduct these Meet & Greets during any non-holiday week on Mondays thru Fridays (we are usually too busy the week of major national holidays for any Meet & Greet visits). Plan on your furry family member spending the entire day with us. Please drop off between 7:00 am & 8:00 am and pick up between 5:00 pm & 7:00 pm.
If you would like your dog to play in our Dog Daycare while they board with us, we will conduct a “Dog Friendly” Temperament Test . If they pass, they’ll spend the day playing and making new friends. If we determine they are not “dog friendly” or are just not a good fit for our open playgroups, they will spend the day in our VIP group going on walks with members of our staff (they will receive plenty of ear scratches, cuddles and tummy rubs).
We will even send home a report card at the conclusion of the Meet & Greet so you’ll know how the whole day went!
POLICIES
Vaccination & Health Requirements
All guests must be a MINIMUM of 4 MONTHS OLD and FULLY VACCINATED.
All guests over 6 months of age must be spayed or neutered (altered) to play in Doggy Daycare (pregnancy and aggression due to hormones are issues which we guard against).
For the health, safety and welfare of all of our guests, we require the following current immunizations: Rabies, Bordetella (six month), Distemper / Parvo and Canine Influenza H3N8/H3N2 . It is your responsibility to email or fax us proof of all
current vaccinations at least 12 hours PRIOR to your check-in.
Discount and Coupons
**Employee Discount Programs or Coupons are not valid during any reservation which includes
a National Holiday or Local Spring Break.
Payments
We accept CREDIT / DEBIT CARDS ONLY. Visa, Master Card, American Express & Discover. NO CASH IS ACCEPTED
Cancellation Policy
We are a hotel (a dog hotel) and we have a Cancellation Policy just like a people hotel – We require notification of an overnight dog boarding reservation cancellation at least 24 hours prior. An amount equal to one night’s stay will be charged if notification is not received within this time frame.
Holidays
Our Lobby is CLOSED on the following holidays, so there are NO CHECK-INS or CHECK-OUTS on those dates:
- New Year’s Day
- Easter Sunday
- Memorial Day
- July 4th
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday
- Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
- New Year’s Eve
Holiday Cancellation Policy
For all National Holidays and Spring Breaks, an amount equal to 2 night’s stay will be charged if notification is not received at least 72 hours prior to the start of your reservation. We require a credit card to be on file with us at the time a reservation is made to uphold this policy and your card will be automatically charged.
Notice of Cancellations must be in writing by sending an email to: info@underdog-kennels.com. This communication will provide a time stamp.
Example: If your reservation is to begin at 8:00 am on Saturday, December 21 – you will need to cancel IN WRITING by 8:00 am Wednesday, December 18 (72 hours) to avoid incurring a Late Cancellation Fee.
