All Overnight Boarding Guests go out 4 times each day for bathroom breaks. Complimentary Daycare is included with all Overnight Boarding stays. Our Overnight Boarding guests receive Daycare 7 days per week.
For anyone checking out Monday thru Friday, you are welcome to stay past the standard 11:00 AM Checkout Time, but will be charged $18 for a Late Checkout – Extra Playtime Fee, and can stay until 7:00 PM.

For guests who want some extra play or who prefer to play only with humans, we offer Private Playtimes. Fetch, tug, chase, massage/tummy rubs, story time – You name it. Whatever your dog prefers, we’re happy to provide it – just let us know their favorite activities.
Available in increments of 15 minutes for $18 – this price includes all siblings from the same family

We offer Dog Daycare 2.0 in Dallas, TX, a program built on the latest dog behavioral research. Studies show that dogs are much like toddlers, and when left in open playgroups all day, they can become overstimulated. This overstimulation often leads to aggression and exhaustion.
To prevent this, our program follows a structured daily schedule. Each playgroup enjoys an active session in the morning and another in the afternoon. In between, dogs rest in the comfort and privacy of their own rooms. This routine supports their natural circadian rhythms, as dogs are meant to take multiple restful naps throughout the day. Our goal is not to exhaust your dog, but to send them home calm, content, and relaxed so you can still enjoy their company after a busy workday.
Before participating, every guest completes a temperament test to confirm they are dog-friendly. After approval, dogs are divided into four groups based on size, age, play style, and temperament. This ensures each pup is placed in an environment where they can have fun and, more importantly, stay safe. At Underdog Kennels, multiple Dog Daycare attendants supervise every group at all times. The health and safety of our guests remain our top priority.
If we determine that a dog is not dog-friendly or not a good fit for open playgroups, they join our VIP Group instead. VIP guests enjoy walks with our staff, along with extra ear scratches, cuddles, and tummy rubs. Please note that this special handling includes an additional charge of $4 per day.
We also offer Private Playtime for pups who prefer one-on-one attention. Activities can include fetch, tug, relaxing massages, tummy rubs, or even story time. Sessions are available in 15-minute increments.
All guests must be at least 4 MONTHS OLD and FULLY VACCINATED.
In addition, dogs over 6 months of age must be spayed or neutered to participate in Doggy Daycare. This policy not only helps prevent pregnancy but also reduces hormone-driven aggression.
Furthermore, for the health and safety of every guest, we require proof of the following current vaccinations: Rabies, Bordetella (every six months), Distemper/Parvo, and Canine Influenza H3N8/H3N2. Please email or fax proof of vaccinations at least 12 hours before check-in.
Finally, we cannot accept unaltered male dogs over 2 years (24 months) of age.
All guests must be at least 4 MONTHS OLD and FULLY VACCINATED.
We are a hotel (a dog hotel), and just like a people hotel, we have a cancellation policy. Therefore, we require notification of an overnight dog boarding reservation cancellation at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, an amount equal to one night’s stay will be charged if notification is not received within this time frame.
For Peak Season Reservations (Thanksgiving Break, Christmas / New Years Break and Spring Breaks), a Non-Refundable Deposit equal to 25% of your total reservation cost will be required to secure an overnight boarding reservation. This deposit will be applied to your final boarding balance at check out.
Any cancellations must be made 5 days (120 hours) prior to your scheduled Check In date and time to have your deposit converted to an account credit good for future use at Underdog Kennels Dog Daycare and Boarding. Any cancellations less than 5 days (120 hours) or No Shows will result in forfeiture of your non-refundable deposit.
To cancel your reservation, an email must be sent to: info@underdog-kennels.com, which will act as a time stamp.
